Afi 36 2903 Sunglasses

Appearance: tapered on sides and back w/ and w/o headgear

Must know the AFI well. Common issues include, fleece zipper not being sipped above name tapes, PT gear zipper not being zipped at least half way, Hair out of regulation, Men wearing the smaller sleeve ranks (enlisted), not having all required components of a uniform (forgetting a belt, wrong color socks etc)

- Eyeglasses: Will be worn in the manner for which they are made. Eyeglasses and sunglasses will not be worn around the neck or on top/back of head or exposed hanging on the uniform.

Service Dress Consists of : -Service Coat with rank -Name Tag (brushed silver) - Ribbons (resting on edge of welt pocket) - Badges: 1/2 in above ribbons & no more than 4 -Long/Short Sleeved Blues Shirt with rank (Ribbons and badge optional name tag required) - Tie or Tie Tab - Trousers (Men) Trousers or Knee length Skirt for Women - Blues Belt and buckle with tip extending facing left (men) and right (women) - Low Quarters (Polished) Men/ Low quarters, 1/2 in or less heeled black pumps, or black flats.

-At a meeting of, or sponsored by an organization movement, or group that is subversive is violent, wants to change US by unconstitutional means. -Public speeches, interviews, or picket lines, marches or rallies or in any public demo implying AF approval. - Public meeting that opposes Armed Forces of the US. - In a way that would discredit the Armed Forces. - When discharged for bad conduct, undesirability, unsuitability, ineptitude, or other than honorably. - While furthering political activities, private employment or commercial interest. - When working in an off duty civilian capacity. - While participating in civilian court proceedings when the conviction would bring discredit to the Air Force. - While in civilian attire. Do not Mix and Match. - When Wearing Combinations of uniform items not specifically prescribed in this AFI. - When uniform items do not meet Air Force Specifications. - When off base eating at restaurants where most diners wear business attire or at bars/pubs/clubs. No ABUs - Air Force Personnel may not wear their military uniforms when using frequet flyer miles to upgrade to business or first class.

-Length (min/max): 1/4 in min, no max, but 3 in in bulk.

-Sunglasses: black or brown lenses/black, brown, silver, or gold frames. Not in formation unless medically required.

- Jewelry: plain, conservative - earrings 1 pair no more than 6 mm in diameter, spherical conservative, white diamond, gold, white pearl, silver. - 1 bracelet: gemstones and tennis only in mess dress.

Cosmetics: conservative, in good taste, no extreme colors.

Bulk: No more than 1 1/4 in in bulk, and will not exceed 1/4 inch at the natural termination point.

Sideburns: neatly trimmed, tapered straight and even width, clean shaven horizontal line. No longer than bottom orifice of ear opening.

Mustaches: not extending downward beyond lip line of upper lip or extend sideways beyond a vertical line drawn upward from both corners of the mouth.

Beards: authorized by Commander. 1/4 in in length only for medical reasons.

-Bangs: Must not touch eyebrows.

False- No lose ends allowed, unless in a pony tail that cannot be formed into a bun due to being too short

-Hair accessories: same color as hair.

-Braids/Twists: french braid, dutch braids, cornrows OK but no more than one inch, uniform, no more than 1/4 in scalp between contour of head.

-Hair Color/Highlights/Lowlights/Frosting: not faddish or extreme, natural looking hair color similar to natural hair color.

False-In PT Gear: up and out of face but can be loose.
