Men's Long and Short Sleeved Shirts
Name tags centered, but not over edge of right pocket Ribbons centered, but not over edge of left pocket ( All, some, or none may be worn ) Badges centered 1/2 inch above ribbons or 1/2 inch above left pocket ( if no ribbons are worn ) Aeronautical, chaplain, space, cyberspace & missile operation badges are mandatory all else is optional. Insignia should be centered 3 1/2 inch or 4 inch chevrons halfway between shoulder seam and elbow when bent at 90 degrees. Tie: Long sleeve mandatory, belt must be centered in between belt buckle, tie clack is optional, must be centered White undershirt must be worn and tucked into trousers V-necks or athletic styles ( unless authorized to wear crew necks )

Men's Trousers and Belt
Back of trousers 7/8 inch longer than the front, straight, slight break in crease Silver tip extends beyond buckle and faces wearer's left with no blue fabric showing.
Women's Slacks, Skirt, and Belt
Back of slacks 7/8 inch longer than the front, straight, slight break in crease Skirt length no shorter than the top of kneecap or longer than bottom of kneecap Silver tip extends beyond buckle and faces wearer's right with no blue fabric showing.
Footwear Rules
Black combat or dress boots ( Oxfords ) with black socks Black pumps low cut and rounded throat with raised heel no longer than 3 inches. ( Women )
Women Hose
Must wear hose with skirt, may wear hose with black socks and slacks Color must complement uniform and individual's skin tone No patterns Body hair can't be shown through hose
Flight Cap
Worn aligned to the center of the forehead, in a straight line with the nose and cap approximately one inch from eyebrows. Men: No hair showing & tucked on second belt loop when inside Women: May have hair showing in front of flight cap; Can wear men's flight cap after BMT
Service Cap
Men: Visor type cap Women: Rounded design Worn squarely on the head, center the large insignia on the front of the cap

Service Dress Uniform
Men - Tie, tie tack ( optional ) Women - Tie tab, must make sure blouse is not visible below the bottom of the service dress coat Coat must be the same material as pants; with arms hanging naturally sleeves end approximately 1/4 inch from heel of thumb. Bottom edge of service coat should extend 3 to 3 1/2 inches below the top of the thigh and don't iron creases. Nametag - Center on right side of service coat between sleeve seam and lapel; align bottom of nametag with the bottom of ribbons US Insignia with Circles - Halfway up lapel seam, resting on, but not over the seam; horizontal to ground Ribbons - Centered but not over edge of pocket Badges - Centered 1/2 inch above ribbons or parallel to nametag ( if no ribbons are worn ) Aeronautical, chaplain, space, cyberspace & missile operation badges are mandatory all else is optional. Additional badges 1/2 inch above the first badge Chevrons - Center chevrons halfway between shoulder seam and elbow when arm is bent at 90 degree angle May use 3 1/2 or 4 inch cloth chevrons
Outergarments
Must be removed inside with the exception of lightweight jacket and fleece.
Lightweight Blue Jacket
Way be worn with or without liner, can use either chevron
All Weather Coat
Sleeves extend 1/2 inch Service Coat sleeves Can't be shorter than 1/2 below knee or 6 inches longer crease of knee Can button top button Metal rank insignia 1 inch up from bottom edge of collar centered and parallel to outer edge of the collar
Uniform Standards

Female Grooming Standards
Natural hair color Hair accessories must match hair color Pinned up hair must prevent loose ends Bun completely tucked in and secured ( no wider than head ) Single ponytail doesn't exceed bulk and length standards Locs / braids must not be longer wider than 1 inch, with natural space and tightly interwoven Nail polish and lipstick must be a single color and compliment skin tone
OCP Coat
US Flag centered on right side stop ( Organizational Unit may be below flag and centered ) Nametag on right side, U.S. Air Force on left side
OCP Trousers
Pockets secured, belt on, blousing straps used.
Undergarments
Must be worn with OCP shirt tucked ( Women wear bras as well )
Boots
Must be coyote brown and laces tucked in

499 Riggers belt to be worn with OCP uniform

Bracelets
One only, no wider than 1/2 inch, gold or silver Traditional POW / MIA bracelets authorized Medical alert bracelets must meet standards Bracelets supporting groups are not authorized No ankle bracelet
